MAX HOLLOWAY VICIOUSLY KNOCKS OUT JUSTIN GAETHJE WITH ONE SECOND LEFT IN THE FIGHT

OHHHHH MYYYYYY GODDDDDDD!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT MY EYES JUST SAW!!! 

MAX HOLLOWAY JUST PUT JUSTIN GAETHJE'S LIGHTS OUT WITH ONE SECOND LEFT ON THE CLOCK IN THE FIFTH AND FINAL ROUND OF THEIR BMF CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT!!! THESE FUCKING WARRIORS STOOD IN THE CENTER OF THE OCTAGON AND TRADED SHOTS BACK AND FORTH LIKE REAL BAD MOTHERFUCKERS UNTIL SOMEONE WENT OUT ON THEIR SHIELD!!! I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT!!!

Before the sensational finish, Max Holloway was putting on one of the best performances of his entire career. He broke Justin Gaethje's nose with a spin kick at the end of Round 1, and dominated almost every round after that. Holloway was working the body, on point with accuracy/precision, nailing Gaethje with uppercuts, and just one step ahead of Gaethje for the majority of the fight. 

Gaethje was able to drop Max for the first time in his career in the fourth round….

….but Holloway recovered and took over the fifth and final round pretty quickly. 

Then, as the seconds counted down, Max pointed to the ground (the universal symbol for "Let's throw down NOW!") and Justin accepted his invitation to stand and bang - and Holloway delivered what may be the greatest buzzer beater in MMA history. 

Yair Rodriguez's insane elbow over the Korean Zombie is the only one even comparable in my opinion.

Weili Zhang vs Yan Xiaonan is up next, but I just still can't get over that knockout. That was worth the whole trip to Vegas right there.

P.S. Dana White just came over to press row, and I asked if Max Holloway would indeed get $600k (two bonuses) for that finish, and he responded, "Oh yeah. The night's not over yet, but I can't imagine what would have to happen in the next two fights for that not to happen."
