Gets It: We Need More People In Sports Like Joe Burrow, Who Told The World He's 'Pro Taunting' And Wants Players Celebrating
Finally, this is what we need more people in sports to talk like this. Sportsmanship is fake. I'm talking about the pretending like you can't celebrate, talking shit, dancing, doing whatever. People who use the words 'sportsmanship' or 'classy' are goddamn stupid. We're talking about sports here. It's a game. You do something, celebrate. The refs need to put their flags away, people need to stop crying and listen to what Joe Burrow is saying here.
Here's what I need specifically. Every defensive end in the league seeing this quote and breaking out dance moves over Joe Burrow's body laying on the ground after a sack. Burrow himself welcomes it. I need creativity. I need to see things that would make Randy Moss pretending to moon the crowd look tame. Still hilarious, but you get what I'm saying. They're all adults! If you're that upset about someone dancing on you, go make a play. It's as simple as that.
This really should be Joe Burrow's message to that rat Goodell. Players don't give a shit about taunting. Some having refs throw flags and cost 15 yards because of it. In fact, it should be a penalty not to celebrate - unless you're Barry Sanders. He's the only guy who made handing the ball right to the ref look cool. Look, Joe even says they work really hard. Let them celebrate. Who gives a shit?
