Zuckerberg Knows The Leg Press Machine Is The Ultimate Cheat Code At The Gym
The leg press machine. One of god's finest creation.
It only serves one purpose, and that's to make all of us who don't actually want to lift legs feel good about ourselves. Anybody can load up the leg press machine with every single 45lb plate in the building and rep it out at least 6 times. Looks to me here like Zuck has 5 plates on both sides. That's 450 lbs (before adding the starting weight of at least 100lbs), going beyond a 90 degree bend in those knees, and not even breaking a sweat.
To the nerds on the internet who have never stepped foot in a gym, that's what "zuck stay winning". To the rest of us, we know that's a man who can't even touch 185 in an actual squat rack without feeling like his hamstring is about to rip clean off of his body.
But that's the beauty of the leg press machine--it's our dirty little secret. We all know it's bullshit. We all know the numbers are fabricated. Every pound on the leg press machine is maybe a quarter of a pound on the squat rack. It's like Bryson DeChambeau hitting his 9-iron 200 yards with the loft of a 6-iron. It's all fake and made up, but it still makes us feel better about ourselves.
