Put Any NBA Player On A 16 Seed NCAA Tournament Team: How Many Of Them Could Lead Their Squads To A March Madness Title?

On today's Pardon My Take... ALEX CARUSO! The player for the Chicago Bulls joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter in-studio to discuss his incredible journey to the NBA, the bubble championship and if should it count, how insanely good everyone in the NBA is at offense, LeBron reading the Godfather, and more.

The guys also proposed an interesting question to Caruso during today's interview: if you put an NBA player on the team of a 16 seed playing in the NCAA Tournament, how many of them could lead their squads to eventually cut down the nets at the Final Four? Caruso gave his thoughts on the show...

After going back and forth with himself, Caruso eventually landed on this precise number: 27 players. That is pretty much every single NBA All-Star.

We always see those hypotheticals of "Could *insert best college team here* beat *insert worst NBA team here*?" Obviously, that is much more difficult than this question. The gap between NBA players and college hoopers is astronomically big, but if we single it out to one pro player trying to put an underdog college team on his back, that would be a fascinating watch. Sign me up for that.

This was a great interview with Alex Caruso. Some of the stories he had were fantastic, and it's always great to get those in-person interviews locked down. It completely changes the vibe of the whole thing in a positive way. Looking forward to the next one.
