Lee Brice Switched Times With Scotty McCreery at Their Show in San Diego So Scotty Can Go to NC State's Final Four Game and Still Perform Saturday Night

This is an all-time good guy move from Lee Brice. If NC State somehow beats Purdue to advance to the national title game, he will have given Scotty McCreery a better gift than anything you could ever buy. I don't remember the last gift I received that meant nearly as much to me as someone doing something like this — and I'm not even rich.

Obviously all of America is rooting for DJ Burns and NC State, particularly as they go up against the evil force that is Zach Edey, but I'm rooting even harder for the Wolfpack now so Scotty McCreery doesn't have to watch his team lose in the Final Four and then sprint to the airport to go do a show two hours later. "Five More Minutes" and "Carolina To Me" deserve their performer at his best.

And this gesture of goodwill towards an NC State fan comes from a former Clemson football player, no less. Maybe the world isn't such a bad place, after all.

We are all NC State fans on Saturday. I hope Scotty gets to see DJ Burns put Edey in a blender for 40 minutes and take this incredible story to Monday night.
