John Mayer Denies Having A Threesome With Vanderpump's Scheana Shay After She Bragged About It On TV For Years
John Mayer is “annoyed” with Scheana Shay‘s claim they were hooked up … which he denies!
The Vanderpump Rules star, yet again, alluded to having an intimate relationship with the Your Body is a Wonderland singer and John is not having it.
Back in August of 2020, Scheana claimed she was in a throuple with John Mayer and Stacie (the bartender) Adams from The Hills.
John is “very annoyed by the entire thing and wants nothing to do with” Scheana. The Grateful Dead guitarist allegedly told “several people close to him that he never hooked up with Scheana,” according to an insider.
While John Mayer has continued to deny the hookup rumor, “He knows that she has been telling people they hooked up well before the Vanderpump Rules episode aired and it’s gotten back to him.”
LMFAOOOOO PRAY FOR SCHEANA SHAY!!!! I don't even know why she went out of her way to, for years, claim to have hooked up with John Mayer in some kind of threesome/throuple situation. It's even more embarrassing that she, for some reason, is talking about it again. This time, her HUSBAND even brought it up! Knowing Scheana on VPR, I'm not at all surprised to hear that she may be lying or at the very least, exaggerating the story to a point where John Mayer himself has heard about it, and is letting things slip to mid-tier reality outlets (and The Sun) to get her off his back.
In reality, do I think they actually hooked up? I'm not sure. JM is a notorious ladies man, but he has made an effort in the last few years to try and dispel rumors and switch up his image from exactly that. He wants us all to see him as "reformed," or maybe he just wants us to know he's grown up. He's on tour with the Grateful Dead, he's not chasing tail like he used to. At the same time, this feels like a BIG LIE for Scheana to tell, especially as a member of the Bravo Universe. John Mayer is legitimately best friends with Andy Cohen, the King of Bravo himself, and I don't think he would hesitate to shut this down in a second if it were fake. Maybe they had like, ONE night together?
Another reason John is denying these rumors I'm sure, is the fact that he's way too famous to be hooking up with reality stars. Sorry Scheana, but it's just bad for the rep! There's a reason you're the one bragging and he's the one denying. It's got to be the biggest shot to the ego, though - if I'm Scheana, and John Mayer is really lying with this denial, I'm going full heel. Details, details, details. To be fair, it never should've been made public in the first place, but now that it is? YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE, JOHN! You told Scheana Shay her body was a wonderland and she's never going to forget it!!
