Jalen Green Is A Superstar

If you're not familiar with Jalen Green, get familiar. He's the face of a Houston Rockets team that has won 10 straight games after upsetting the team half a game out of first place in the West in their home arena. Houston is making a legit push for the play-in round and have a real shot to bump Steph Curry and the Warriors out of the dance. And Green is the straw that stirs this Texas drink. He's a third year player that had a really promising rookie season averaging 17 points, 3 boards and 2 assists. But after a promising second season where he averaged 22 points, 4 boards, and 4 assists, Green took a step back this year. Rockets Center Alperen Sengun became the focal point of the offense and Green became a secondary option on offense. But Sengun went down with an injury on March 11th and Green has simply taken over since then.

Over the last seven games, he's averaging 34 ppg, 7 boards, and and 4 assists, all Rockets wins. And tonight's game in Oklahoma City was their signature win and Green was spectacular with 37-9-7 including wow play after wow play and clutch baskets galore.
His defense is much improved.
His range is terrific and he's got a wicked stepback.
He can split defenders and he's got insane finishing ability.
And when you need a bucket, he can get it.
Jalen Green is only 21 years old and he is taking over right now.
