Some Things: Three Days After Head Coach Keith Dambrot Announces He's Retiring, Duquesne Wins Its First NCAA Tournament Game In 55 Years

There it is. Second game of the day and we have our mayhem starting. But this is about Keith Dambrot right now, who is arguably the best story in this Tournament? Him or Dan Monson. Dambrot announced earlier this week he's retiring

He's retiring to help with his wife battling cancer.

It's impossible not to root for this guy, even with him being LeBron's high school coach and having LeBron help out this team.

Duquesne was one of those bid stealers, remember the run they had to win the A-10 Tournament. Now you had Duquesne kick BYU's ass for 40 minutes. Yeah, BYU cut it close, tied it up and everything like that. But Duquesne led the entire game. The moment BYU tied it up, little run for separation for Duquesne. But it's also the first time they won a Tournament game in 55 years!

Shout out Dae Dae Grant. Dude was unreal. 19 points, two free throws with under 5 seconds to go to seal the game. Dude also has a name that can be a March star. You need a solid name for the run. You don't make the UConn run in 2014 if it was led by Shawn Napier. That's just a fact. Same with Kevin Walker or Kevin Pitts. You need Kemba and the snoggle at the end of a name. Debate all you want, those are just facts.

Anyways, shout out Duquesne. That's one hell of a win and really just what BYU deserves. They were supposed to be a 5 seed but they refuse to play on Sunday's. So they had to be a 6 and drew Duquesne. Everyone yelled that Duquesne basically took VCU's seed when they beat them in the A-10 title game. Now they have a Tournament win since color TV was around - not sure if that's accurate, I just assume so.
