We Need More People Like John Calipari In The World - A Man Who Is Leading The Charge That NCAA Tournament Expansion Is Dumb As Hell

This right here is how you lead from the front. Whether you like it or not, John Calipari is probably the biggest name in college basketball. People listen when he speaks. So when he tells everyone to shut up about expansion, it should be screamed around the country. Look at that quote. I don't believe he was ever mad at the committee. He's always calm, collected and never angry at other people. But this is about him leading the way. He's the voice of the reason. He's the voice of common sense. 

We have other coaches throughout the country who want the Tournament to expand, probably so their garbage teams make it more often. You know what we don't need? Teams worse than Virginia playing in this event. Remember how much that sucked? That was 2 days ago. Now imagine having multiple games like that because we need 76 teams in the Tournament. It's the dumbest idea in the world. The Tournament is perfect. Conference tournament week is perfect. 

You want to play in the Tournament? Fine, it's simple. Win games. Win your conference tournament. That's all you have to do. NC Sate had no business being on the bracket, then they won games. And I know the committee will always catch shit, because they do screw up, not usually as bad as this year, but they screw up. I don't understand why we don't do the S-curve that Cal pitched. It makes sense. If you're the No. 1 overall seed you should have the easiest path to the Final Four. It's common sense. Instead we have all these bracketing rules and it screw up stuff.
