I Interviewed Top Prospect And Internet Sensation Max Clark, And We Talked About His Rise To Stardom

I don't know if it's just a coincidence or if the Tigers have made an effort to take a deeper dive into the mental makeup of the people they bring into their organization. Still, I continue to be impressed with the way that these guys all conduct themselves. Max Clark is 19 years old. He's 19 years old, and he's been an Internet star on social media since he was Even younger than that. That essentially means he was a child star, and it scares me to say that because we sometimes know what happens to child stars, but it seems like Max Clark is taking all of this in stride. He's a good kid.

I love this guy's competitive spirit. What he did in the minor leagues last year was irrelevant to me. It was an 18-year-old kid just getting his feet wet in professional baseball, but he was pissed about it. I know that some people can't stand analytics and tech and react to it the way that a vampire would react if somebody put a cross in front of a vampire, but having those weapons at your disposal makes you better. The fact that somebody 19 years old is so savvy and well-versed in this world gives him a leg up. It's one of the big reasons why the Tigers took him third overall. Obviously, the ceiling is very high, but he seems like a player who is going to be very comfortable adjusting, which will be required as he ascends through the minor leagues.

"Chris And Company" continues to roll on. At some point in the future, we may scale back to one day a week. We'll see how difficult of a time I have booking interviews, but for now, we will be back on Friday with an interview with Lions safety Kerby Joseph. He's the first Detroit Lion that we've had on the show, so that should be a lot of fun. Make sure to like and subscribe to Rumble and YouTube. All "Chris And Company" content can be found here
