It's Impossible To Enjoy Watching Zach Edey Play Basketball

Two things can be true here. Zach Edey is the NPOY and it's impossible to watch him play basketball. It has nothing to do with him even, refs just refuse to call games with him correctly. I know he's 7'4" but he's not the first giant human to be good at basketball. My point is simply that everything looks physical with him because he's 7-fucking-4. 

It got to the point that Raft was disgusted with the refs during this game. Do you know how bad it has to be for Raft to talk shit and make comments all the time about the refs? Even in overtime you have Edey trucking Wahl on a play and getting the call.

 Nothing makes sense! I'm not even a Wisconsin fan (no shit) nor a Purdue hater. It's just impossible to watch Zach Edey play basketball and enjoy it. 

And that right there is the biggest problem in college basketball this year. Edey is good. He doesn't need help from the refs. Instead of people talking about the first back-to-back NPOY since Ralph Sampson any time Purdue plays it's about how terrible the refs are. It's about how Edey gets all these calls being a giant out there. It's one thing to just let the game happen and Edey do his shit but instead he's at the line 100 times a game. And as I blog this Winter gets called for … I don't know? Boxing out? 

And if I'm the Big 10 I'm losing my shit. You want to know why everyone says Purdue will lose in the Tournament? Because he won't be reffed like this by guys who ref their games all the time. Put an end to it already. Just let us watch basketball.
