Surviving Barstool S4 Ep. 3 | Shocking Betrayal Rocks the TribesWATCH NOW

HALLELUJAH! The Content Machine That Is Jameis Winston (Pretty Good QB, Too) Has Decided To Sign With The Cleveland Browns

LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOO!!!!

I was legit just telling my Mom on my walk home last night that while being on Mostly Sports and The Mark Titus Show and The Yak were great yesterday, I was a little nervous about a few things. The first of which was that when you're getting pulled left and right for various shows, it's tough to focus on your writing. The second was that all of my blogs had been about my life / Barstool lately. Remember, Dave specifically told me that 100% of my focus was to be on the blog, and I said it would be....and that the other 50% would be on getting in the mix. While the mix was great yesterday, I needed something to happen that would give me some longevity on the blog aside from just myself....something in Ohio to happen that would take the national spotlight.....something that could bring me back to my roots: blogging Ohio sports news.

....and then literally the greatest possible thing that could ever happen to me occurred: Jameis Winston decided to come to the Cleveland Browns.

This is such a perfect fit. I mean, the man literally gives a speech about playing like Dawgs instead of little puppies.

Even his warmup routine will be content:

And now he's all mine to write about…..? Thank you, Jesus Christ. It's days like these that make me know you're real.

* From a football side of things, I actually have mixed emotions. I do think Jameis Winston will now probably be one of the best backup QBs in the entire league, and if / when Deshaun Watson gets hurt again, we won't take a huge step backwards by inserting Jameis in. But umm, he's 43-53 in his career as a starter. And he's thrown more than 1 interception per game. I'm not saying he sucks to have as a backup, but ummm, why are we letting the reigning NFL Comeback Player of the Year walk when he literally just said last week that he wants to be in Cleveland….?

I'll trust Andrew Berry to keep making the right football decisions, but man, he better be right on this one. Joe Flacco literally putting the team on his back right arm and taking them 4-1 down the stretch to make the playoffs is something I will tell my grandkids about. What a magical run in Cleveland. Thank you, Joe Flacco. And welcome to Cleveland, Jameis.
