Russia And China Have Decided To Put A Nuclear Power Plant ON THE FUCKING MOON
Russia and China are considering putting a nuclear power plant on the Moon around 2033-35, Yuri Borisov, the head of Russia's space agency Roscosmos said on Tuesday.
The two countries are collaborating on the International Lunar Research Station, a massive complex on the moon that is set break ground in 2026.
The proposed base, which will have a radius of nearly four miles, larger than any Disney theme park, will house scientists who will deeply study the properties of the moon.
A nuclear power plant on the moon? What's next for these two, sharks with fricken laser beams on their heads?
This is one of those headlines where I am not even really sure what the competition is, but I know we are losing.
Something is going on in space and the moon and the powers that be just aren't telling us. Something happened. We went from the Obama administration defunding NASA in 2013. Then Trump gets elected and invents the Space Force. Then we have Musk and Bezos racing to build spaceships and get to Mars. Now we have a joint venture between our two biggest rivals announcing that they're building a nuclear power plant on the moon. Are they mining for gold and other rare minerals? Are they turning the moon into the Death Star? Are they just planting stories to scare the fuck out of Americans because, well, mission accomplished.
Sneaky, I think we should be nuking Mars and the Moon. They need global warms. Send some nukes and some terraforming shit. If it doesn't work...who cares. We aren't doing shit up there anyways. Best case...we get a comic book science planet out of it. I bet I could convince Biden to do it.
