A Marquette Compliance Officer Putting Out A Real Statement Proving That Tyler Kolek Can Read Is Why The Big East Fucking Rules

That is Tyler Kolek, you likely know that because I assume you've watched at least 1 college basketball game this year. Tyler Kolek fucking rules. He's not afraid to talk shit, he mixes it up with the crowd, he's also just fun as hell to watch. Dude is the reigning Big East POY too. 

The other thing about Tyler Kolek is every Big East fanbase runs with the fact that he can't read. That's a real statement that makes me laugh every single time because it's why the Big East fucking rules. One fanbase starts a rumor, everyone runs with it and chants it and tweets about how Tyler Kolek can't read. 

That brings me to yesterday. This tweet, from again, a very obvious parody account, went viral in Big East twitter: 

Again, I'm begging people to stop falling for parody accounts. Just read the profile one time for me. We gotta be smarter on Twitter, which I know is asking a lot. But if you see this, it's pretty clearly parody: 

Instead of just getting jokes off though, we had Marquette's compliance officer do the unthinkable. She put out a tweet, quote tweeting our female anatomy expert, freaking out about how Tyler Kolek CAN read: 

First off, it's fucking hilarious that Big East twitter runs with the fact that their reigning POY can't read. Even he understands it's a joke. But this is why the Big East is the best. I don't care what happens in the league, the league is where it should be. We're no longer in the everyone cheer for everyone in the Tournament stage of the league. They aren't trying to prove they are fine with the realignment from a few years back. They are back to hating each others guts and the Twitter fanbase is outrageous. This is the same league that gave us 'how do you look in orange?' This is the same league that gave us Pitino and Hurley fighting with each other. The same league with the Ed Cooley being a traitor saga. Same league that recently gave us Dan Hurley vs Creighton fans. 

Everyone always wants to talk about what team being relevant makes college basketball better, and yeah the obvious big names are right. But it's the Big East that makes college basketball better. They have the most insane collective fanbase on social media. They have the names in the league. They have the coaching personalities. They have stupid things like this, that Tyler Kolek can't read and compliance officers tweeting about it. Can't wait for the Garden.
