Tyreek Hill is Getting Sued by a Plus-Size Influencer Alleging He Broke Her Leg During Football Drills After She was 'Holding Her Own' Against Him

You, like me, may not be familiar with the work of Sophie Hall. But her 2 million followers on Instagram and countless more on other social media platforms most definitely are. This self-proclaimed "Americanized Brit's" messages of body positivity and loving you for you have clearly resonated with a large (not going for a pun there, but I'm keeping it) segment of the public. Enough so that she attracted the attention of one of the unquestioned best professional athletes of his generation. For a private audience at his house, no less. And even a personal session of doing what he does best: Teaching the game of football.

I'm sorry to report however, that according to Sophie Hall's court filings, the lesson went horribly, tragically wrong for all involved:

Source - NFL superstar Tyreek Hill broke a woman's leg when he charged at her with 'crushing force' during a backyard football lesson, according to a lawsuit obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

Influencer Sophie Hall says Hill, 29, felt 'humiliated' when she managed to 'hold her own' and even knock him backwards during a series of practice drills at his Florida mansion.

The five-time All-Pro retaliated by rushing at Hall and knocking her to the ground with such ferocity that she needed reconstructive surgery and months of physio, it's alleged. ...

'Tyreek Hill, a National Football League superstar, perennial Pro Bowler, First Team All-Pro and world class athlete nicknamed the "Cheetah" for his incredible combination of strength and speed, makes his living humiliating and outperforming his competition on the football field,' her complaint states.

'Unfortunately, after getting ''humiliated'' in front of friends and family when he was knocked backwards during a friendly football lesson by his friend Sophie Hall, Tyreek became enraged and forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg.'

This is obviously a sad, regrettable situation. Especially when one reads about the storybook way this relationship began:

Hall claims the speedy wideout started sending her 'flirtatious' Instagram messages a day after she enrolled her ten-year-old son in the Tyreek Hill Football Camp last May.

The curvy OnlyFans creator says the gridiron star refused to believe she was 6ft 1in – three inches taller than him.

He flew her to Florida on June 28 and invited her to 'hang' at his $7 million mansion in swish Southwest Ranches, just outside Miami. …

'Defendant Hill invited Ms. Hall to participate in offensive drills with him,' her complaint says.

'Defendant Hill told her that 'since her 10-year-old son played offensive lineman she should practice that position as well.' …

Hill asked his guest to adopt a defensive line position and encouraged her to rush at him as if she was chasing a quarterback. …

'Ms. Hall did as instructed and on contact with the defendant, caused Hill to be pushed backwards, garnering laughter from the witnesses present at the time, including the defendant's mother, sister, friend and trainer,' it continues.

'Apparently embarrassed by his loss of stability as a result of contact by a woman during the "football play", Mr. Hill's attitude changed and he became angry.'

For the next few plays Hall was instructed to play offense, hiking the football to an imaginary quarterback, while Hill became a defensive pass rusher.

On the third play 'Hill rushed through as Ms. Hall held her own against Mr. Hill,' the lawsuit states. The blonde TikTok star didn't fare so well on the fourth hit.

'Defendant Hill charged into her violently and with great force, resulting in significant and serious injuries,' the suit alleges.

Allow me to stop this here and point out that we all wish Sophie Hall a speedy and full recovery. The pain of this must have been excruciating. After all, there's a reason why we have the expression, "as funny as a broken leg." Because there is nothing at all amusing about that injury, unless it's suffered by a cartoon character for comedic effect. So our thoughts and sympathies are with her, completely.

That said, once Ms. Hall gets through this, I hope she takes a moment to be proud of herself, and what she was able to accomplish. She did what the greatest football players the world has ever known have been unable to do. And that is get the best of Tyreek Hill on the field. Quite literally beating him at his own game. She didn't deserve to suffer for it because his ego couldn't take the humiliation. But that shouldn't distract from the satisfaction she should take in the fact she got the better of him.

Think about the body-positivity message that sends to her followers about what large, Rubenesque women are capable of. The best defensive backs in the NFL can't keep up with The Cheetah. But Sophie Hill - who by her own admission knows nothing about American football - got her curvy frame up out of her stance and showed the quick burst and sudden acceleration to chase down the fastest player in the league and put him on his butt. That's an incredible achievement.

Now, my sainted mom raised me to be too much of a gentleman to inquire about a lady's weight. But since it's her occupation and she had posted it on her own site to inspire others, Sophie has listed herself at much as 270 lbs "before surgery" and as low as 200 after. We don't know where she was at when she sacked Hill, but since he's listed at 191, that is truly a remarkable achievement. So let her example prove to everyone what Big, Beautiful Women are capable of.

As far as Tyreek Hill, it remains to be seen how the NFL will look at him severely injuring a woman. Or how his wife is going to take the news he's sending "flirtatious" texts to a mom who's signing her son up for his camp. But then again, she's put up with worse this year. Hill just can't stay out of the courtroom:
