Diletta Leotta Redefined The Selection Show Game, Needs To Be The Person To Announce Playoff Teams Forever

I don't know what CBS and the NCAA have planned this year, but it's time to scrap it. Remember a few years ago when the show was roughly 7 hours long and then they got pissed the bracket leaked onto Twitter? Yeah, problem solved right here. I know it's not exactly a reveal considering Diletta is showing the 8 teams in the Lega Basket Serie A playoffs, but the point stands. If we can knock out 8 teams in a quick Instagram post this fast, surely we can do 68 teams at a rapid pace. Just go team by team on the bracket like this, coming out of the elevator and everything. It's called show business. 

Plus, no one wants to watch that long of a bracket reveal. We want to argue about who got in, who got left out, who got screwed with their seed. And arguably more importantly, we want to dream of what our road to a Final Four and national championship looks like. We all sit down and map it out. There are group texts, phone calls, however you communicate with those around you to talk about your first round opponent for the next 4 days. 

Let's address the other part. Diletta just one-upped Mariah Carey for the basketball jersey look, something I never thought I'd say.

Still can't believe that trend never picked up. A big loss for someone like me, plus we could see Captain Cons losing his mind over wearing jerseys again. That's a win-win.
