Chicago Bears Fans Finally Get What We've Been Asking For - A Head Coaching Change
We did it! After the worst 25-game start to a head coaching career in Bears history and fans clammoring all season and offseason for the Bears to make a change the message finally got through.
So long the "dude sipping an Old Style doing a crossword puzzle on the Metra from Palatine" look. Welcome thrist trap commander in drip! So what we didn't get Harbough? Or Vrabel (still available). Or Belichick (still available). As a firm trust in Poles guy if he says this is the change we need at head coach then this is the change we need. Do I realize this is the ultimate cope perhaps in the history of sports? Absolutely.
Not. Hear me out. You might say this is nothing but a cosmetic change but the fact of the matter is a head coach's job is to take charge as a leader of men and it's a well documented fact that being more attractive earns you more respect in any industry.
That's called the halo effect. Ryan Poles was a Communications major in college so you better believe he was behind the scenes using these psychology facts to his advantage. Some might even say he went full Freddie Prinze Jr. and challenged himself to make the most unpopular coach popular.
Job well done is all I gotta say. He might not quite be Kevin Stefanski level handsome but this dude finally looks like he's someone you might want to listen to. I'm ready to compare some before and after drip mode stats to see how well this worked. Obviously there's not going to be any monumental conflicting factors in play for 2024.
Gonna be a good year Bears fans. Gonna be a good year!
