'I May Be The Worst In The Country' - Coach Cal Embarrassed Auburn And Then Decided To Cut A Wrestling Promo Mocking Every Hater

Oh shit. Oh shit. I know this John Calipari. This is a John Calipari we haven't seen since like 2019. Not only did he go in and embarrass Auburn, he decided to turn the press conference into a damn wrestling promo. This is when I know he thinks his team figured it out. When Calipari starts mocking everyone questioning his coaching and dumb shit like 'just run zone!' something happened over the week to change his tone.

I'm not exaggerating. Kentucky embarrassed Auburn:

Even Bruce Pearl was crying.

Adorable. Mind you Auburn shot more free throws and were called for less fouls. But, adorable nonetheless. But back to Calipari and Kentucky. This is what we needed. That team last night was the Kentucky team we waited all year for. The fact they finally defend - mostly just having Theiro, Wagner and Edwards disrupting shit and then Ugo at the rim and Reed running around for steals. That's the team that can win 6. You go into Auburn, a place where everyone yesterday said 'no one wins here' and beat their ass for 40 minutes, you look the part of a team that can win 6.

Where the fuck has this been though? This team doesn't lose to Gonzaga or Florida, no matter who is out there. And credit to Cal. Every person immediately says it his fault if they lose, he out coached Pearl by a landslide. It wasn't even close. Pearl was screaming at the refs and couldn't figure out how to attack the ball screen defense and Cal just sat back and laughed.

This is the Calipari that Kentucky needs. This is the one that made 4 Final Fours in his first 6 years. I thought the aura of Kentucky died last week losing at home for the third time in a row. This brings it back to life. This was the best win in a few years for Kentucky. Now you have a chance for a decent seed since you still play Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi State and the SEC Tournament. This is who Kentucky should be.
