Elvis Came Back Alive to Perform the Barstool Big Game Halftime Show

Working at Barstool Sports is the most random job in the universe. Two years ago, I had the idea to do a halftime show at the watch party in Lake Charles with Hank Lockwood.

Long before I was banned from rap music, I sang "California Love" in a disco shirt and brought the house down. And now I am the halftime show every year.

With the Big Game being in Las Vegas, I decided to go a different route and went Elvis theme because of his extensive history in Vegas. Huge shoutout to Office Manager Paige Pullman & Caitlyn Walker for getting me this FIRE costume! Also a big thank you to Corey Rutledge (Director), Steffan (Production) & Quigs (Graphics). We got the best team at the Stool!

Originally, I was debating 3 songs (Viva Las Vegas, Suspicious Minds, Little Less Conversation). The Viva was obvious with the Barstool reference but not my favorite song. And you can't fake passion! So I went with the other two.

The Suspicious Minds was better than the Little Less Conversation. Overall the feedback was 80-90% positive online which felt like a big win.

Dave Portnoy was losing a 500k bet at halftime and still managed to laugh super hard at me. So I must have done something right. I did manage to piss him off yet again after the game was over but the sky is blue in other news.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Elvis has left the building…….
