Aaron Rodgers Claims He Was Taken Out Of Context By Jimmy Kimmel During 2nd Joe Rogan Appearance

Aaron Rodgers returned to Joe Rogan's podcast lair to OWN THE LIBS with the king himself in Austin.

Aaron Rodgers is made in a lab for Joe Rogan. Often times Rogan will find himself going on rants about subjects (COVID, government overreach, pharmaceutical companies, gender) that his guests have no interest in. If you've listened to any of Rogan's podcasts since 2016, there are many instances of him going on tangents while the guests are left silent. That's not Rodgers though, he's the opposite. He wants the entire podcast to be about the subjects that get Joe Rogan going, outside of comedians being the last defense of woke culture taking over.

We saw Rodgers with Rogan in August 2022, but that was way before his recent run-in with Jimmy Kimmel. Rogan, of course, brought this up and Rodgers ran with it (start at 2:35):

POST - “He had gone on his show and called me a tinfoil-hat-wearing doofus who is talking about the … I thought he had said that I was an idiot for even thinking that there’s a list out there,” Rodgers said.

Rogan asked, “So when you were saying that he doesn’t want that list to come out, you weren’t saying that he was on that list?”

Rodgers mentions that he was taken out of context by Kimmel and that no one has watched the clip that started all of this (probably ture). Rodgers does have a case for this considering his history with Kimmel before the McAfee interview. LET'S DIVE IN.

Narrative: Aaron Rodgers said that Jimmy Kimmel is on Epstein's list

History:

November 2021: Kimmel calls Aaron Rodgers a "Karen" for lying about his vaccination status:

“Honestly, the only thing worse than not getting vaccinated when you’re in close contact with other people is letting them think you’re vaccinated when you’re not,” Kimmel shared at the time. “It’s basically the COVID equivalent of ‘the condom fell off.’ Aaron is a Karen, that’s the fact of the matter.”

March 3rd, 2023: Kimmel claims Aaron Rodgers is a "tin-foil hatter" in his monologue after Rodgers expressed interest in learning who is on "Epstein's list:"

January 2024: Aaron Rodgers appearance on Pat McAfee leads to the headlines that suggest Rodgers said Kimmel is on Epstein's list. That included Jimmy Kimmel himself:

What was actually said on the McAfee Show is a bit different from that (1:42:40):

"There are a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who hope that doesn't come out" were Aaron Rodgers exact words. Now, considering the history of Kimmel calling Rodgers a "Karen" for thinking the list exists, his defense of being taken out of context makes sense. It is possible that Rodgers was implying Jimmy was on the list, but it's not as black-and-white as everyone initially reported.

Thanks for coming to my history class on Rodgers vs. Kimmel. I hope you learned a thing or two.
