There Are Whispers Going Around That 50 Cent and Eminem Will Be Doing A Joint Album Together And Please Lord Let This Be True

Rock The Bells - In a recent phone conversation with DJ Whoo Kid, Eminem discussed the possibility of new music, and responded to rumors that he and 50 Cent are working on a joint project.

In the conversation, which Whoo Kid posted on 1/28, Em says that he is, "working on a little something," and that his life has been on pause during the Detroit Lions run in the NFL playoffs.

Whoo Kid then asked Em about the rumored collaboration album with his longtime friend, 50 Cent.

"Where did that come from," the "Slim Shady" rapper asked, before responding that it's time for new 50 Cent music. "I don't know whose idea that was, but that's crazy," he said. "I'm trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 album like really bad. Fif is on a roll right now, he's been on a roll since the [Final Lap] tour."

"Whatever he needs from me, I'm here," Em said. "That shit would be crazy though, an album with me and him."

Collab albums are all the rage now. Started with Jay Z and Kanye's Watch The Throne, (actually started with Jay Z & R Kelly's Best of Both Worlds albums that Jay Z wants to pretend never happened), and has transpired over to, (my personal favorite) Bad Meets Evil with Eminem and Royce Da 5 9, and is now seeing us get Drake and 21 Savage, Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign and more which nobody asked for.

But this, this right here, a 50 Cent and Eminem collaboration is exactly what the world needs right now.

Yesterday I blogged about how Ben Shapiro was sitting atop the Rap Charts with his song, taking pot shots at Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, laughing at them from above while they feud publicly

and how this is a sign that rap music is on life support, if not completely dead.

But I have faith that an Eminem and 50 joint effort could revive the body and bring it back to life.

We seriously NEED this to happen.

Eminem gave a hell of an induction(?) speech for 50 back in 2020 when he received his Hollywood Star on the walk of fame.

“I’m here today because he’s not only a business partner to me, this is one of the best friends I’ve known in the world,” said Eminem.

“I would say it’s much more fun to be his friend than it is to be his enemy, ’cause this guy is f**king relentless.

“And he won’t stop. He pretty much does it all.

“And he’s also helped me through a lot of hard times in my own life and he’s always been there when I need him.

“So, 50, congrats on your star, man.

“Hollywood is making it official what I knew from the beginning and Dre knew from the beginning.”

And the two performed together this past summer when Eminem made a surprise appearance on the Detroit stop of 50's Final Lap tour where they performed  "Patiently Waitiing", and "Crack A Bottle," from Em's Relapse album together.

These two have so, so, SO many fucking bangers together people forget.
