Control The Story: TJ Otzelberger Is Pissed Off And Ripped Kansas State Apart For 'Ludicrous' Accusations That Iowa State Tried To Steal Their Signs

You hear that voice crack? That's how you know this is a serious denial. You don't nearly cry and choke up if you are just saying words. TJ Otzelberger is pissed off and rightfully so. We have sign-stealing allegations and, well, we know how that can go. 

Like it said in that report, Kansas State's coaching staff had serious accusations. You don't just randomly accuse a team of sign stealing. Not during a Farmageddon game, which really is the best name for a rivalry in college basketball. You don't top Farmagedoon. And listen to the rebuttal. What's factual is Kansas State's staff was cussing out Iowa State student managers. That's how you flip a script. Immediately come out with a new story and how that's the real problem. 

Is this a big story? Yeah, mostly because Iowa State is legit this year. 16-4 with wins over Kansas and Houston already in conference play will do the trick. But the moment you start getting accused of trying to steal plays from a huddle and have them texted to you just adds everything. Oh and the best part? Last game of the season. Iowa State at Kansas State. 

Here's the other thing. If Kansas State is serious about these allegations, Jerome Tang needs to do a press conference with a Power Point and full on display showing why this report came out. Can't just say we're handling it or we're not talking about it. You have two options. 1) Apologize for it and hope it just moves along or 2) double down like I said. 

Also when the hell did everything turn into sign stealing? Felt like we went forever without those words and now we've had stories about it in MLB, college football and college basketball. We gotta come up with a different thing. Can't keep doing sign stealing accusations and stories.
