Happy 50th Birthday To One Of The Most Influential People To Ever Exist. A Legend. An Icon. - Kelly Kapowski

There are few people who have a birthday and it really stops me in the my tracks. Basically at this point it's if my parents hit a number where I start to view them as old or one of the most influential, one of the most important people in my life turn 50. Kelly Kapowski. I know she's Tiffani Thiessen but she's Kelly Kapowski. That's the most important two names in TV history for any man born between about 1980-1988 or so. The easiest 1.1 pick in Snake Draft history

Oh and what's she up to now?

Let me tell you. It's PERFECT. There are few perfect things in life, but Kelly Kapowski turning into the ideal mom and wife is exactly what should happen. Granted, these Instagram pictures should be happening with Zack Morris and kids with unreal hair, it's still all that's right in the world.

If you're telling me you're not proposing on the spot on the first date, you're a liar. Kelly Kapowski was everyone's dream girl in the 90s. It didn't matter who you were, where you were from or anything like that. You had a TV or knew someone with a TV, you were in love with Kelly Kapowski. You wanted to go sit on the same side of the booth at the Max, hold hands and maybe try to get a little graze over the pants at some point before leaving in the car.

Now you might be wondering why I say influential. Because, again, you say the name Kelly Kapowski and every man goes back to being a 13-year old and has the same reaction. You can even go on and on about her roles in 90210 or even Son in Law, but the words Kelly Kapowski are ones that will last forever.

PS: Not sure when she dropped the Amber in her name, but it doesn't matter. It's Kelly Kapowski's birthday. Let's all take a moment and pay homage to an icon.

PPS: When you're Kelly Kapowski you can get away with the dumbest thing in the world of counting down to your birthday
