WELL DESERVED: Eagles OC Brian Johnson Is Someway, Somehow A Hot Commodity For A NFL Head Coaching Position
Just like Johnathan Gannon of last year, Brian Johnson has been a football savant for the Eagles and any NFL team would be beyond lucky to have him as head coach. YUP! Would really be sad to see a zillion bubble screen passes on 3rd and 40 go to backup RB's and aging WR's on other football squads.
Hey, maybe people see something in Brian Johnson outside of the facts and physical reality. Johnson was actually a HUGE part in Jalen Hurts' development and ultimate glow up in 2022 as he was the QB coach. But then again, we have eyes. And infuriating shit like this was the norm pretty much all season, but especially during the 2nd half of the year and into the playoff game:
It's almost unfathomable for an offense to be so predictable that someone can predict the exact play-call off the cuff from a coach, yet here we were. All year. Again, we all have eyes. And we can also read while interpreting statistics. Like how after beating the Bills in Week 12 and vaulting themselves to a NFL best 10-1, the Eagles had the 2nd worst point differential in the league. Is that all the offense? Of course not. But the O was indeed inept beyond belief.
It's amazing to think Brian Johnson might get closer to a NFL head coaching position than being able to return to his Offensive Coordinator spot with the Eagles. But that's exactly where we're at. Oh well. Good luck BJ on all the interviews! Somebody take a chance! You won't regret it until you might!!
