I Am All In On St.John’s Bringing Back These Awesome Throwback Uniforms

The St.John's people are up my ass all off season. Rightfully so. I famously said I didn't think anyone could fix St.John's and bring them to national prominence. Now before anymore of you dopes go bizzerk. Yes I know Rick Pitino is a championship level coach and if anyone can do it it's him. I have also said that. What I do warn Johnnies fans about is that their facilities stink, they have never been able to recruit NYC in the last 20 years (even those the league keeps producing high level recruits), they only played a handful of games at MSG before Pitino arrived, more people care about the program that are in their 50's than in their 20's, and the burning question I keep asking is this ... Pitino is 70 years old after he leaves who is going to take over and can they overcome all the obstacles I listed out for a long period of time? There's no immediate answer. Do I think Pitino can win a title in 6 years there? Yes, but I know it's a tough battle and if he doesn't win one I worry they will be back in the mix of just another floundering program in a big conference with no plan in life after Pitino. I think that's a very fair statement. 

Anyway, with all that said. I am all in on St.John's if they make these uniforms a permanent fixture. My God these are awesome. It really makes you wonder why some uniforms go away or why people take so long to bring them back. Make these full time. They are the damn best and it's not even close. Garden should be rocking tmrw ... just an all time uniform. I still think your facilities suck and it's a long shot you ever win a title, and Pitino ain't getting any younger ... but enjoy the uniforms and party like it's 1994 tmrw.
