Maybe The Biggest Injustice Ever Occurred On This Week's Snake Draft

I first off need to say I love the Snake Draft crew, and love being a part of them. I have the most appearances as a guest, and pride myself on being one of the first to give out of the box or curveball answers and really flip the draft on it's head. I like the format and the ball breaking and the element of someone taking a pick you really wanted or being impressed with a pick you didn't think of. So it goes without saying I never try to disparage the Snake Draft, but maybe the biggest travesty has occurred in the latest edition.

We did Sports Traditions ... with the 2nd overall pick I took ... Super Bowl Sunday. The panel essentially laughed me off the stage.

Luckily people with a brain have weighed in via the poll as well as with their replies and have backed me for a very correct take.

I feel like I am taking crazy pills that I even have to explain myself here. Super Bowl Sunday is the best tradition in sports. The NFL plays games on a variety of days but will never ever move Super Bowl Sunday. The festivities are things people mark their calendar around. People plan out their parties, their food, even their outfits for the Super Bowl. Let's also remember all the traditions involved with Super Bowl Sunday as well, specifically gambling. Every year people who haven't placed a wager all year place bets on the Super Bowl. Also … the squares. Super Bowl Boxes are held like a piece of real estate in this country. People hold onto their spot forever, if that's not a tradition I don't know what is.

Let's also quickly discuss the definition of a tradition :

a long-established custom or belief that has been passed on from one generation to another.

The question I would ask to Eddie, Chief, WSD, and anyone reading this … is in 20 years when you take your kids to a Super Bowl party, and when they ask you why the Super Bowl is such a big deal, or why you go to a certain person's house for a party and you answer "because it's a tradition" , I'll know you are lying.

Anyway … check out the full draft below. The Super Bowl is 100000000% a tradition, and one of the best we got.
