Someone Put Together An Edit Of What A Zack Snyder "Star Wars" Movie Would Look Like And It's One Of The Most Brilliant Things I've Seen On The Internet

Sometimes, having too much time on your hands can be beneficial. I did not actively seek this out. I stumbled across this video in my recommended section two hours after it was uploaded, making this one of the first times I jumped on something before it became popular. The account itself, Auralnauts, has almost 400,000 subscribers, so it's not like this guy needs promotion. However, this was so brilliant that I had to write a blog about it.

My issue with Zach Snyder is not that he's untalented or incapable of making good movies. I love "300". I grew up enjoying "Watchmen," though. I haven't watched it in a long time. Has remake of "Dawn of the Dead" kicks a lot of ass and was pretty influential in the sense that it introduced running zombies. The problem with Zach Snyder is that he doesn't understand that most great films come from two or three really good ideas being put on screen. Snyder has an obesity of ideas, and he uses them all. His movies are bloated because of that. He puts every single idea on screen.

Everything about this is so perfect. The guy you put this together has a superhuman understanding of Zack Snyder's corniness. The excessive use of slow motion, the maudlin exposition, the over-written musical score, and the void of humor or charm make this a perfect Snyder parody. Let's not forget the complete and utter lack of subtlety. This was a response to Snyder's critically panned Netflix film "Rebel Moon," which was Snyder's attempt to make his own version of "Star Wars." By all accounts, "Rebel Moon: Part One" was a complete disaster, though we are getting a sequel.

I pointed this out before, but it's fascinating that Zack Snyder keeps getting unlimited budgets to make whatever movie he wants. He was given an unlimited budget to make his sci-fi opus back in 2011. It was called "Sucker Punch." It was whack. You think studios would've learned their lesson, but he seems like a nice guy, and he's not void of talent. he clearly puts a lot of effort into his movies, but it's a misplaced effort. It's the directorial equivalent of a guy who keeps putting his foot on the gas even though the car has been parked for 20 minutes. There's effort, but you're not really getting anywhere. This YouTube channel said this is only part one of his Snyder Star Wars parodies. Give me part two right now.
