Mark Cuban Is Giving Mavericks Employees $35 MILLION In Bonuses As A Thank You For All Their Hard Work After Selling The Team

Source - It’s still the season of giving for Mark Cuban.

Cuban, who is selling his majority stake in the Mavericks, sent an email to team employees on Friday that he, along with the new owners, would be paying approximately $35 million in bonuses to them, according to ESPN.

I think I speak for all of America when I say that I love Mark Cuban. I mean imagine being a long time concession worker and receiving that email? Or a mop guy? Or a security guard? Or anyone for that matter? It's gotta be the best feeling in the world.

Here's what the email said...

“As a thank you for all your hard work making the Mavs an amazing organization, each of you will be receiving a bonus from myself, and the Adelson and Dumont families,” the email read. “In total we will be paying out approximately $35 plus million dollars in bonuses to you all.

“To calculate your bonus, we used a framework that took into consideration how long you have worked for the Mavs. You will receive your bonus in the very near future.

“I’m excited to continue our work making the Mavs the best franchise in all of sports! Let’s go Mavs!”

What a king. And what an awesome way for the new owners to take over the team. Morale is probably through the roof. The haters will say that he should've given out more considering he sold the team for $3.5 billion, but those people are idiots. He built the team, he gets the money - that's how it works. Shout out to Mark Cuban for making every single person in that organization proud to be there. Talk about a great Friday.
