That's Enough Internet Today: Richarlison Announced His Relationship With A Model By Posting A Video Of Them Emerging From A Chicken Egg

I, uh, I have no idea what the fuck I just watched but I do know that we've gone too far with the Internet here. We have a Premier League player posting a video of him and his girlfriend emerging from a chicken egg to announce they are in a relationship. Then again, we are talking about Richarlison here. He's a weird dude who is known as the pigeon so why the hell not. I don't know, is this the new Facebook official? Remember that craze back when you could only log in to that site with a college email address? Once upon a time that was what mattered and how you determined if someone was single or not. Now we have guys doing chicken TikToks. 

I'm also well aware famous people like Richarlison live in a different world than you and I. We get in a relationship and your friends find out by the significant other showing up to shit. There's no announcement. There's no TikTok - at least I hope not. I've been out of the dating game for a decade now so maybe I'm just officially an old and out of touch. 

I just don't get the whole announcement thing. Announcements used to mean something. You get engaged? That shit went into the newspaper. You had a baby? You announced that. Other than that I can't think of anything from a personal standpoint that needed to be announced until you die. Granted, I never fully understood the engaged announcement in the paper, but we're talking old school here. 

Anyways, as a Spurs supporter I can only hope this means Richarlison starts scoring. Maybe this is what he needed to look the part of his signing. At least that's what I'm telling myself since I have to watch him every match. Congrats to the couple, I guess? Can only go up after you announce your relationship with a chicken shitting out an egg.
