David Ortiz Swinging Out Of His Shoes And Missing His Gender Reveal Pitch Is A Toughhhh Look

Oh no Big Papi, not like this! What a bad at-bat here by Ortiz, 0 plate discipline! Throwing Papi something in and on the hands like that? I know he hit a few of those out in his day but thats a tough pitch to hit. Great approach by the pitcher to attack Papi there too. They were able to get away with one there, he's usually pretty good at not swinging at the junk inside like that but he took the bait here. 

Such a bad look for him to not even come close to hitting this ball in the gender reveal. One of the most clutch hitter we've ever seen just swung and missed in the biggest moment of his life. They should honestly kick him out of Cooperstown for this. How can you have the greatest DH of all time show up to his own gender reveal and whiff on an underhand pitch? 

The only way this could be a funnier clip is if he like slipped out of his shoes and fell. Pure comedy there to go along with the K. But the best part is he goes back to get the ball after the blue confetti is shot out. Was he looking for a re-do? I mean I would be, but in the end he's celebrating the baby boy always. I do think he was hooking that thing wayyyyy foul if he connected on it. That or he was going to smoke some poor old lady in the face as she waited to see if it was a boy or girl.
