Moriah Mills Has Returned And This Time She Has The Perfect 3 Step Plan To Save Zion Williamson's Basketball Career

Without a doubt one of the most bizarre parts of the NBA offseason was when Zion Williamson's ex Moriah Mills went off THE DEEP END, and that might be putting it lightly. Every week for like two months we had more and more unhinged behavior

I mean, yikes. NBA players getting put on blast by OF/IG girls is certainly nothing new, but we were dealing with a whole different level this summer when it came to Zion and Moriah. The thing is, as the season got closer, we hadn't really heard anything else. Maybe they talked through things, maybe a direct deposit hit her account, who knows. Did that mean things were over?

Of course not!

We're back baby! This time Moriah Mills didn't just come to expose Zion with texts or DMs or anything like that. Instead, she came with some advice on how to save this basketball career. How nice! Let's have a listen

Alright wait, did she cook? Everyone knows Zion's weight is an issue and he's not exactly in what most would deem "ideal" basketball shape. We just had Stephen A go on TV and say that chefs all throughout New Orleans love Zion because he eats the entire table, so maybe she has a point when it comes to that treadmill routine. That seems like it could work!

Second, I also have to agree with the cutting out of soda. Hammering soda is not going to help you lose weight, and even Jokic kicked his habit and it turned him into the best basketball player on the planet. I'm not sure how much more evidence you need, so I have no choice but to award another point to Moriah here.

OK, let's see about her 3rd piece of advice. God dammit, she's right again! Zion does need to develop his outside shot. He's sjooting just 28.6% this year and is a career 33% shooter. The thing is, he barely takes them. Only 7 this year, 19 last year, and 74 total in 137 career games. It's simply not a part of his offensive arsenal even though we're in Year 4. In today's NBA, you cannot be a non factor from the outside, especially as a franchise player. If you look at things objectively, it's fair to say that this is something Zion needs to work on.

Now I wouldn't say it's because we're bored of Zion dunking, that still rules. It's more because that's just where the game is going in 2023. You become way more one dimensional when you're not a threat from deep, and clearly Moriah understands this. I won't speak to how this compares to him as a lover because frankly that's just weird, but I am fully on board in terms of his basketball skill. It needs a lot of work.

So you add this all up, and is it crazy to suggest that Moriah Mills knows ball? I'm having a hard time finding the issue with any of her recommendations or how she evaluates his game (the basketball one, not the dick one). You're telling me that if Zion worked out, got in shape, and then added a consistent 3pt shot to his arsenal he wouldn't be a better player? Exactly.

Personally, I hope this saga never dies. It gets funnier and funnier (and also kinda sad) every time a video like this pops up. Zion certainly isn't alone with this stuff (see: Anthony Edwards), and maybe you could make the case that blogging this video only encourages her to do more of it, but that's kind of the point. The fact that we got this immediately after the Pelicans blew a 24 point lead and Zion only had 13 points on 5-12 (0-0) makes it even better. Hopefully, he takes her advice, because it might be the only thing that could save his career.

Oh, and for those who are interested, we'll end this blog with what they teach us on Day 1 in blogging school. Enjoy.
