Jalen Hurts Is Forced To Do Pee-Wee Football Fumbling Drills Because Jalen Hurts Is A Leader Of Men
OK. Some people might look at this clip from Eagles practice and think it's an embarrassment your MVP-franchise QB1 is forced to do basic anti-fumbling drills in mid-December of a 10-3 season. And those people might be correct. But you know what? This is Jalen Hurts we're talking about. A leader of all mankind in which no effort is too small and/or emasculating to make yourself better for the team. Jalen Hurts is the definition of humility.
This is a dude who led his Alabama slammers to the National Championship team only to be benched at halftime to watch his backup Tua come in, sling out, and win the game. Some, nay, most would say that's actually embarrassing and Hurts had every right to be slightly upset or even jealous watching someone else take his ultimate shine. So how did Hurts react after the game? Like a Doggone professional of the game. And life.
So, yeah, Jalen Hurts is gong to do pee-wee ball security drills last seen at the local Conestoga Generals practice and he's going to do it without making a single complaint. That's what we call a leader. Now the only thing left to do is stop turning the ball over. Seriously. Hurts has 10 picks and 5 fumbles this year already. That's 15 turnovers in 13 games. Last year he gave away the ball only 8 times thru 15 games. That's regression, baby. Time to stop the shit and take home the NFC.
Go Birds.
