Jim Harbaugh Stood Up Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti When He Handed Michigan Their Big Ten Championship Trophy

Michigan won their third consecutive Big Ten championship tonight against Iowa. It was an ugly game, but for the second consecutive year, Michigan will be 13–0 going into the college football playoff. The game itself was relatively boring. The story became Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti, who recently suspended Jim Harbaugh for three games, and whether or not he would have the balls to shake Jim Harbaugh’s hand as he handed him the Big Ten championship trophy. We officially have our answer.

Look, I don’t expect Tony Petitti to get down on his knees and kiss Jim Harbaugh‘s feet. I’m not a “Michigan vs everybody“ guy. The commissioner did what he felt he had to do. But if you’re suspending a coach, you better have the balls to stand up there and watch them celebrate when that same coach wins a Big Ten championship. Say what you will about Rob Manfred, but he didn’t shy away like a fucking pussy when the Astros won the World Series in 2022. It’s clear that Jim Harbaugh would rather stick his hand down a garbage disposal than shake Tony Petitti‘s hand at this point, but sometimes those hands have to get dirty. Stand up on the stage and take your beating like a good boy.
