If You're #TeamChaos, Here's What Needs to Happen in College Football Tonight

The College Football Playoff committee has skated by ever since the 4 team playoff was implemented in 2014. There have been a few times where analysts have tried to drum up drama by saying shit like , "Well maybe Ohio State could sneak in over fucking whoever", but pretty much every year, going into selection day, everyone has known exactly what the playoff is going to look like. The Playoff Committee has never really had that tough of a decision to make.

More likely than not, the same thing is going to happen this year. Georgia is about to beat Alabama. Michigan is going to beat Iowa. And this one might be a little more questionable, but I'm pretty sure Florida State is going to beat Louisville. That makes their job so easy.

1. Georgia
2. Michigna
3. Washington
4. Florida State

There will be a bit of a stink about Texas being a better team than Florida State, but let's be real. The undefeated ACC champion is going to get the bid over a 1-loss Big 12 Champion. I'd rather see Texas play Georgia too, but you can't leave out Florida State. It would be unfair to leave them out. And I know people say, "Well college football isn't fair, blah blah blah." But they try to be fair. And when you have a situation as black and white as one undefeated power 5 champion vs a 1-loss power 5 champion (especially when those conferences are the ACC and Big 12), they're going to pick the undefeated one.

But fuck that. The college football committee needs to sweat just ONE TIME before they expand to 12 teams. Because it stops mattering once we go to 12 teams. With 12 teams, nobody is really going to care about who the last team in is. Whoever it is will just get steamrolled by Georgia anyways.

So if you're #TeamChaos here's what needs to happen. Alabama HAS to beat Georgia. That's step 1. That throws a wrench in everything. We need Florida State to win too. Michigan isn't losing to Iowa. If all that happens, then here's what we've got

Michigan 13-0 (BIG10 Champion)
Washington 13-0 (PAC-12 Champion)
Florida State (ACC Champion with a dog shit QB) - 13-0
Alabama 12-1 (SEC Champion)
Texas 12-1 (BIG-12 Champion)
Georgia 12-1
Ohio State 11-1

When I lay it out like that, I think they'd leave out Georgia, Ohio State, and Texas. But people would be fucking pissed about that, right? I know you shouldn't penalize Florida State for having an injury, but like... are you really putting them in over Georgia?

And I know Florida State deserves it, but that is a waste of a team. They don't have a QB. That makes one of the semi-final games completely unwatchable if we're being honest with ourselves. Gun to my head, I think Texas is out in that situation.

For the hell of it, lets say Iowa wins too. Then here's what we've got.

Washington 13-0 (PAC-12 Champion)
Florida State (ACC Champion with a dog shit QB) - 13-0
Alabama 12-1 (SEC Champion)
Texas 12-1 (BIG-12 Champion)
Georgia 12-1
Michigan 12-1
Ohio State 11-1

I think that makes it a little easier for the Playoff Committee, but I'm not sure. Because then I think they can just go straight conference champions (excluding Iowa). Which is an easy out for them. I think Michigan winning puts their ass in the jackpot harder.

I just want it to be chaos for the committee one time. They're had it so fucking easy ever since 2014. They've been so god damn lucky. I want them to feel the heat. I want them to be dragged online. I'm #TeamChaos. You should be #TeamChaos too.
