Elon Musk To Advertisers: "Go Fuck Yourselves"

Is that clear? Yes, Elon. I'd say that is pretty fucking clear. Crystal. Say what you will about Elon. Clearly an imperfect person, as we all are, but this is a guy who puts his nuts on the table and his money where his mouth is consistently. You don't really have to guess what he's thinking. I respect a guy who at least appears authentic and has his principles. It's why I like working for Dave Portnoy too. Here is the longer clip from an interview that was full of them. 

I gotta say...I think Elon's is wrong about his long term outlook and public perception here. He thinks that the entire planet will look so harshly on the advertisers who pulled and effectively killed Twitter that they will, in turn, kill the advertisers that killed a free speech platform. Highly disagree. Just look at the "Twitter Files". Those were OUTRAGEOUS and extremely troubling and showed that our own intelligence was trying desperately to kill narratives that conflicted with their own agenda when it came to covid and the 2020 election. How many people actually read through those? I'd guess like .01% of the population. And if twitter does die at the calculated hand of the advertisers and three letter agencies, who is going to tell Elon's story? Literally nobody. That is the risk. A $44B risk he played. A number he apparently doesn't even care about since he is basically daring advertisers to kill twitter. I hope it doesn't come to that. I don't even care that he didn't send me my $11.59 for content creators in November. He needs that more than I do, apparently. I never loved and hated anything more than twitter. It's great and important, and also brings out the very worst in people. Probably better to have a platform like it than to not have it all though.
