Patrick Kane being healthy and in the NHL is good for the league. It's good for hockey. It makes me a little sad and nauseous that it's in Detroit, but for some reason I think I hate that less than I would if he played for like some loser sunbelt fan base like Dallas or Florida. Can you imagine Nicky Smokes running around the office wearing a Patrick Kane Florida Panthers jersey and trying to dap up Blackhawks fans? It'd be unbearable. I like the Detroit guy in the office even if he should be reprimanded for his conduct the other day. 

And look...Patrick Kane wanted to be in Chicago. The Blackhawks told him no. That was a HUGE mistake, but it wasn't his mistake. So when he comes back to Chicago in March wearing enemy colors, remember whose fault this was. 

He will always be my favorite player and the most important player the organization ever had. I will cheer for him because of that.
