Ohio State Is Down So Bad That Their Cornerbacks Coach Is Picking Fights On Instagram With Michigan's Players

These boys just ain't built like they used to be. After a year of claiming that they had gotten tougher, better, and stronger, Ohio State still found a way to lose to Michigan for the third year in a row. Michigan was without their head coach, and in the third quarter, they lost their best offensive lineman and still beat the Buckeyes once again. It was a glorious moment for Michigan players and fans worldwide. I was fortunate enough to be there. Ohio State is still a good program, but the Goliath-like feel they had when Urban Meyer was there is officially dead. They resorted to having their cornerback coach clapping back at Michigan wide receiver Roman Wilson on Instagram. All of this stems from Roman Wilson's comment in the post-game press conference when he was asked whether or not he felt like Ohio State got tougher from last season to this season.

Is Wilson's comment perhaps a little bit arrogant? Yeah, it should be. This is how rivalries work. Four years ago, Justin Fields said he felt like Ohio State cared about this game more than Michigan did, and now Michigan has earned the right to say that Ohio State players have lost a step. Roman Wilson will likely leave Michigan without ever knowing what it feels like to lose to Ohio State. You can keep talking that shit.

The play that the Ohio State cornerbacks coach is bringing into question was a first half touchdown that JJ McCarthy threw to Wilson. It featured kind of a wonky exchange at the goal line that was one of the million reviews that we saw yesterday.

Look, I know that there's a personal bias here because I am a Michigan fan, but you are a fucking crazy person if you think that this was an interception. Wilson had control of the ball, crossed the plane, and the play was dead after that. Whatever happens after you cross the end zone is inconsequential. Some people just be looking for things to bitch about, but Michigan keeps marching on.
