Surviving Barstool S4 Ep. 3 | Shocking Betrayal Rocks the TribesWATCH NOW

This Unreal Thanksgiving Eve Brawl At Kowloon In Saugus Is Peak Masshole Behavior In A Video

Unreal video here out of Kowloon in Saugus on Blackout Wednesday. I can't stop watching. Let me start off by saying we need to find the cameraman of this video and give him a job immediately. We don't have the Saugus Rocket on the roster here anymore, but there's a couple shows we could use a steady camera hand for. A second hat tip to the DJ who never stopped performing under immense pressure. Clutch like you read about. And if you're throwing hands to David Guetta, you have to continue until someone's knocked out. Those are just the rules.

I don't know a damn thing about Massachusetts, Boston, or the North Shore besides Large telling me they have good beefs and I thought that might have multiple meanings. Anything I've heard has been off hand from Gaz's experience terrorizing those bars for the last 2 decades while Dave yells at him from the throne. It seems like a relatively fun place to spend your time, until you run into a Masshole who wants to swing at you just because you're wearing your favorite Barstool retro hat that you bought 20% off during our Black Friday sale that he was mad he didn't think of buying and wearing first:

Every time you watch this video, you notice something different. It just kept on providing. I don't want to be the one that pauses the video in the first few seconds to confirm to see if I thought I saw what I did, but take a gander for me and let me know down below. And I didn't think it could get crazier, until the legendary cameraman panned his phone over into pure pandemonium. The guy bleeding from his head after getting a bottle smashed on it. Tyler Seguin, Boston Terrier legend, in the background in a square up on the TV. The DJ letting that shit play on. The cops struggling to control the crowd. Just nonstop chaos for thirty seconds.

I read on Twitter that there were 15 arrests, which I knew absolutely couldn't be true, but luckily the Globe reported on it and that was indeed false:

SOURCE: A brawl broke out at Kowloon restaurant on Route 1 in Saugus on Thanksgiving Eve, police said.

Saugus police said the fight erupted around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and involved “several young men.” Six police officers working a detail at the popular restaurant were able to “deescalate the altercation,” the Saugus Police Department said in a statement.

Video of the fight that was posted on social media showed a chaotic scene involving multiple people grappling and punching each other as police tried to break up the melee. One man appeared to have blood streaming down his face as others could be heard screaming off-camera.

State Police also responded to the restaurant, but Saugus police “had already broken up the fight” by the time troopers arrived, said State Police spokesman David Procopio. Troopers remained at the scene to help disperse the crowd, he said.

No arrests were reported as of Friday, though several men allegedly involved in the fight were detained and questioned by police, Saugus police said. Officers were focused on providing “the males [with] needed medical treatment,” the department said.

The fight is under investigation and said “charges may be forthcoming.” One person allegedly used a glass bottle during the fight, which is a felony, police said.

“The Kowloon is a family friendly restaurant, unfortunately a few unruly patrons ruined a nice evening for many others,” Saugus Police Chief Michael Ricciardelli said in the statement. “A disturbance such as this on Thanksgiving Eve is unacceptable and disgusting.”

I agree with the Police Chief. A disturbance while people are trying to eat delicious crab rangoons and pu pu platters is unacceptable and disgusting! And on the holiday of giving thanks no less! But if you are going to engage in an outbreak of fisticuffs, make sure to record it and go viral on the Internet so I can reap pageviews. Just Masshole things.

Next time, they should probably settle the beef in the ring. They could have had their opportunity in a few weeks at Gillie and Wallo's Knockout Party on December 8th across state lines in Delaware:

Lesson learned.
