PETA Remains Unhinged With An Insane Thanksgiving Tweet

This might be a controversial opinion, but I think I love PETA. Not love in a way where I agree with them. But love in the way an internet blogger who's looking for a ridiculous day story to blog loves an unhinged post. PETA has long been is an industry leader in being unhinged.

PETA isn't interested in facts. PETA is entirely aware that turkeys would eat the living shit out of us if they were 5x our size. As I learned from a recent community note, turkeys eat mice, lizards, frogs, and just about anything they can fit in their mouth. They would eat us so hard if they could. My god could you imagine. If turkeys all the sudden turned into the size of dinosaurs. Then the dinosaur turkeys stormed PETA headquarters and PETA was all like, "No, stop! We're the good guys!" and the turkeys would be like, "We don't even comprehend what that means we're fucking turkeys", then proceed to swallow PETA's board room whole.

I feel like PETA lost their own plot many, many years ago, and pivoted to an "all publicity is good publicity" approach. People barely even know what they stand for anymore. I'm not even sure PETA knows. People just generally equate PETA with a "be nice to animals" sentiment. So PETA just tries to get their name out there in a stupidest most viral way possible, facts be damned, just so we see the word PETA come across our desk. They just want us to remember they exist. And that's exactly what they accomplished with this delightful Thanksgiving post.

That's maybe a little unfair. PETA must do some good things right? I'm sure I don't disagree with 100% of the things that they stand for. But they've kinda lost it haven't they? You know when they hit send on this picture of a skinned, headless human tied up 50 Shades of Grey style they thought, "We fucking nailed it guys." And you know what... by PETA standards, they kind of did. I'm a big fan of your posts PETA. Keep up the good work.

And in case you haven't heard, everything in the Barstool Sports store is 20% off from now until Cyber Monday. Unfortunately we don't have a monster turkeys eating humans ugly sweater, but there's a lot of good stuff. So buy some stuff. Thank you.
