Witch Hunt! A Refs Association Is Reportedly Lying About Their Claim FC Cincinnati Player Matt Miazga Stormed Their Locker Room And Had To Be Forcibly Removed
So I saw this pop up on Twitter earlier today. Here we go again. Refs crying and complaining that a player stormed their locker room and had to be forcibly removed. Boo hoo. I don't want to ever feel bad for refs of any kind so it was hard to here. Then it started to come out that it was FC Cincinnati player Matt Miazga
Okay, this made some sense. I mean they did give Miazga a bullshit yellow card in PKs which was his second of the match.
I'm sorry is emotion not allowed to happen in playoff soccer? I thought this was America, a place where we talk shit when we're winning. A place where you go back home and mock fans if you do something well. It's part of the game. A yellow card? Soft as soft gets. It's why I don't respect refs. They don't answer to anyone. They don't have any sense of the moment. Your job is not to be known, yet we know way too many refs. Speaking of answering to anyone, this report came out:
[Enquirer] - A league source with direct knowledge of the events at Red Bull Arena took issue with the characterization of Miazga's behavior, telling The Enquirer stadium security was not involved, and a member of FC Cincinnati's communications department helped move Miazga along from the area of the referees' locker room.
Oh would you look at that? A lie! A witch hunt! They are trying to hold back Matt Miazga and FC Cincinnati. I won't stand for it. I won't stand for refs acting like the Rockets took a tunnel to their locker room trying to fight and hid in the corner. This is not how you treat the No. 1 team in MLS. This is not how you treat a man who gave us this delight against our archnemisis
The only right thing to do is let Matt Miazga play the next match and make the refs come out and apologize.
