"Atta Boy You Dumb Fuck"-Rangers Pitching Coach Mike Maddux Heckled the Shit Out Of Tommy Pham For Getting Picked Off Of Second

This is shaping up to be an excellent World Series. We're tied at one going back to Arizona. The Diamondbacks let one slip away in game one but came back emphatically last night to knock off Jordan Montgomery and the Rangers. There was a huge situation with runners on first and second in the 6th inning when Tommy Pham inexplicably got kicked off of second base. Rangers pitching coach Mike Maddux, let them have it.

This was a 2-1 ball game at the time this happened. This could've been a huge turning point if the Rangers bullpen wasn't something of a dumpster fire. I don't blame Mike Maddux here. In my opinion, no player should ever get picked off of second base, yet we've seen it multiple times in this postseason. At the same time, Tommy Pham is probably the last person you want to piss off.  

Tommy Pham is the best kind of baseball psycho. Yeah, he slapped the shit out of Joc Peterson for fucking up their fantasy football league, but he’s one of those guys you want on your team. The Diamondbacks' decision to trade for him at the deadline was a smart move, and he had a four hit ball game last night in the World Series. The guy's approach seems very simple. He sees the ball, and he hits the ball. I’ve always liked watching him at the plate. 

I’ll be interested to see if the Diamondbacks have any sort of response to Mike Maddux‘s insult. I feel like this postseason has been full of teams taking insults personally and responding with big moments. This Arizona team doesn’t strike me as a team that needs any added motivation, but I’m all for drama and storylines, and it seems like this World Series will have plenty of it.
