Olivia Rodrigo Toned Down A Few Of Her More Crude Song Lyrics On "GUTS" And I Personally Wish She Kept The Originals

AWWW COME ON!!! I want to sing about perfect all american tits!!!!! Olivia Rodrigo went on Jimmy Kimmel last night and discussed a few lyrics she had to clean up, after Jimmy told her that his young son was singing the curse words in Vampire. She let him know that a few of the lyrics to two of her best songs on the album were originally a little more crass than the final product:

I can forgive taking out "the way he grabbed my ass," but "perfect all american tits" is SUCH a good line. Infinitely better than "hips." I know when you're a commercial artist you have to remember your audience is a wide range, that does skew younger especially for Olivia. But still....BE CRASS! BE GROSS! Say tits in a song!!! It's not your fault that negligent parents all over the world aren't smart enough to play the clean versions! Olivia Rodrigo is supposed to be our new Punk Rock Princess of the 21st century, and we're inadvertently shaming her into taking "tits" out of a "fuck you" style banger that sends the message of, "I am who I am, deal with it"??? FOR SHAME

Regardless, GUTS continues to be one of my favorite albums of the year and Olivia is really crushing it in the music department. STRONG, INDEPENDENT, SUCCESSFUL WOMEN STAND UP!
