Dana White Says He's OBSESSED With The Las Vegas Sphere And Wants UFC To Be The First Sporting Event Held There

What do Dana White and Dante The Don have in common?

They both spend way too much time in Vegas and had their minds blown by U2's show at the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas....

Dana White joined plenty of other celebs and visited the Sphere in Vegas for U2 last week, and apparently had the time of his life - because he's now ADAMANT that the UFC will be the first live sporting event there next September. He claimed there's already boxing promoters trying to get in there before him, but scoffed at that, and said they don't have the money required to put on a truly amazing event there. Dana even said he'd go into that event without the mindset of turning a profit, and would pay more than anyone has ever paid to surround the event with the greatest atmosphere possible.

I'm a bit surprised White wouldn't want to get in there earlier and attempt to hold UFC 300 there in April, but the rumors are that Harry Styles takes over for a residency in March - so that September Mexican Independence Day card will have to do.

I'd obviously love to see it - hell, I'd even love to see the David Attenborough movie they've been showing there....

….but I have no idea what they'd put on the big screen during fights. 

Do they make it look like a huge crowd on that side too? Maybe they go the Karate Combat route and make it look like a Roman Coliseum or something? What if they just turn it into space so it looks like the octagon is on the moon? Or a giant Hasbulla sitting cross-legged that makes it look like he's playing with a couple action figures during fights?
