The Celtics Released Their First "Beneath The Banners" Episode Of The Season And It Is Everything You Could Want And More

Earlier this week I wrote a blog about how the Nuggets were releasing a 9 part mini series about their journey to winning their first ever title, and even as someone who is a Nuggets fan, I loved every second of the episodes that have been released. As a well known sucker for any sort of basketball documentary/behind the scenes content, I was jealous. 

In that blog, I talked about how this absolutely needed to be something we got from more NBA teams. While there's no NBA Hard Knocks, there's no reason why we can't have an NBA type Hard Knocks show throughout the year. Screw waiting until you maybe win the title, give us an inside look at the journey in real time. While we see all the stuff on the surface of the course of the season, follow that shit up with the behind the scenes juice.

Little did I know, my beloved Boston Celtics would answer my prayers immediately. To my surprise, I saw something get tweeted onto my timeline and could not have clicked quicker. 

15 minutes of all the behind the scenes shit from one of the craziest offseasons we've had since the KG trade. 

It had everything. The JB extension, Tatum/Brown workouts, the Draft, Porzingis' presser, Summer League, Holiday's presser, I mean the amount of Celtics porn in this thing almost forced me to tag this blog with an NSFW designation. My lord is this the exact type of propaganda that I'm looking for right now. We have a long way to go until Wednesday night, so this could not have dropped at a more perfect time. Coming off the high of the preseason finale this was pretty much me all day today

waiting for my next Celts hit. My cup has been overflowing with Celts Kool Aid for days now and is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon now that I can add this episode to the mix. What a time to be alive.

A little birdie also told me to expect a handful of these throughout the year every few months, and if things go how we all hope and pray they do, it's going to be glorious to watch. So go ahead, clear your schedule for tonight, light some candles, and have yourself a grand old time by hitting play on the video above.
