Let this be a lesson to us all, that dreams really can come true. That the self-righteous buttinski parents who not only tried to ruin Brianna, but in their zealotry irresponsibly exposed their own children to her adult content they otherwise would never have seen, not only failed to destroy her, they helped make her rich beyond the dreams of a dedicated public school educator. That they ended up being the best thing that could ever happen to her.
She's Hester Prynne, alright. If Prynne took that Scarlet Letter, started mass-producing it, and made a fortune with it. If I may make other literary references, she's a female Jay Gatsby, pulling herself from debt and poverty, using her natural talents to make herself a one-percenter. She's Dagny Taggart in Atlas Shrugged, but with private sex acts on a webcam instead of building railroads.
In this world of profound strife and turmoil, where it feels like the middle class is burdened under a yoke they can never throw off, and the elites who are controlling everything seem indifferent if not downright hostile to the plight of working people, it's heartwarming to know that there's a figure like Brianna Coppage out there to inspire us. If she can do it, then the American Dream is alive and well after all.
