Clips From The New King Kong Game Are Going Viral For Looking Like Something From The Original Playstation

I love beautiful shit. It's one of my favorite things to talk about. I know that there are pretentious people out there who think it's not kind to defame art because people worked hard on a project. OK, and? Sorry, but this looks BRUTAL!

I'm not even the biggest gamer in the world. I am going to play the shit out of the new Spider-Man game that's coming out this week, but I won't claim to be an expert on all things video game related. With that said, you don't have to be a genius to see that the graphics in this new King Kong game are hilariously bad. 

Video games, much like movies, operate on deadlines. Sometimes, with movies, a VFX artist can't put the finishing touches on the product because they're coming up on the release date. I can understand that, but I sure as hell don't understand this. This looks like the graphics on a computer game that you would play at the end of math class in junior high. I'm getting strong "Butt Ugly Martians" vibes from this game.

I can understand anything being bad. Only some people's ultimate vision ends up coming to fruition. But this is still baffling. The graphics here are lame on a level that I've never seen. I would've been unhappy with this in 2002. I'm not even that big of a gamer, and I find myself somewhat offended. It sucks because I think a King Kong game could be freaking awesome. Maybe we'll get one one day, but it sure as hell ain't going to be this.
