Oh No! People Think Brian Daboll And Sean McDermott Hate Each Other Because Of Their Handshake After Sunday Night Football

This isn't the first time we've heard these two aren't exactly best friends:

[Source] - On Tuesday, McDermott was asked about the supposed rift between he and his former offensive coordinator.

“We’ve won a lot of games, and through, that there’s conversations that take place that they get hard, right? Not every conversation on good teams and thriving teams, like we’ve been, are going to be easy,” McDermott said, via Matt Parrino of syracuse.com. “But no I had no issue with Brian.”

That's from a year and a half ago. Fast forward to Sunday night and you have Daboll going with the backpat while both coaches do the walk-by handshake. Here's my thing. What do you want Daboll to do? He just lost a heartbreaking game because his team can't stop making dumb plays. I still can't believe Taylor checked to a run at the first half. I've thought about that way more than I should to be honest.

Nothing makes me laugh more than people reading into a snubbed handshake. Why do we still do those? At least we're not lining up like college sports, which is still incredibly stupid. Spare me the sportsmanship angle, that's fake. It's all forced to line up and go through like a U-8 soccer game. At least in the NFL you can walk to whoever you want and shake their hand after a game.

And who cares if they don't like each other? You get along with every co-worker, I don't think so. They don't even work together anymore, so they should have some friction. All I know is Daboll won the handshake. The little slap on the back sealed it and frankly we need wins wherever we can get them right now. Going right to the hug with Josh Allen really sells it too. If only that counted for, you know, not doing dumb shit on the field.
