What Just Happened: The Diamondbacks Become The First Team In Postseason History To Launch FOUR Homers In One Inning

Lance Lynn blew away Evan Longoria with a fastball to end the 2nd inning of tonight's NLDS Game 3. He was noticeably amped as you can see below.

Lynn being a fiery guy who wears his emotions on his sleeve just trying to get the Dodgers dugout going as they attempt to stage a comeback in this series. Well, only problem is that this only further angered the Snakes. In the 3rd inning they came out hacking and Lynn returned the favor with meatball after meatball. The result?

Not one homer…

Not two…

Not three…

but FOUR HOMERS IN ONE INNING!!

The game has been played a long, long time. That's never happened before in the postseason.

Moreno actually hit one out the pitch before this, but upon further review it was called just foul. No bother, he turned around the next one and blasted it out. Bob Costas couldn't even talk about just missing four homers in one inning before the actual fourth one sailed over the fence. Unbelievable.

The Diamondbacks are making a mockery of their long-time nemesis of the NL West. A team that's ran circles around them for years has been resorted to a laughing stock before our very eyes. We knew the Dodgers starting pitching was a problem given their situation, but man did they make it clear they were not going to help in October. Turns out starting Lance Lynn in a do or die 2023 road playoff game was not an advantageous position to be in.

The fucking snakes, man. What a story. Just a few innings away from the NLCS and sending the Dodgers home. Give it to us.
