A Fan Ran On Stage And Tried To Confront Machine Gun Kelly While He Was Being Interviewed By Forbes

I don’t want to give anyone any ideas, but I’m genuinely surprised that stuff doesn’t happen more often. Think about it: you are a celebrity, making a public appearance in a theater with hundreds of people. If you take any random sample size that large, odds are many of those people will be crazy fucks. I don’t know what this guy’s intent was, but for what it’s worth, I have to give MGK credit for how he handled this. I’d be freaking the fuck out and running away. Considering that it led to a standoff, I think Mr. Gun Kelly handled this perfectly.

While I give MGK credit for being pretty chill about this whole thing, this is a lame effort by security. I don’t want to put anybody on blast, but this is a 2 out of 10 effort. You see somebody run onto a ballfield; they are getting wrecked before they even reach the infield. This fan appeared to be crazy, but we’re very lucky he wasn’t certifiably insane, or else this could’ve ended really poorly. That Ole Miss security guard would've solved things fast.

I might be showing my ignorance here, but why is MGK doing an interview with Forbes? Is he that big of a star? I don't know, maybe it's just my undying love for Eminem that blinds me. I was under the assumption that Eminem ended his career like four years ago. Again, I'm not in touch with these things. This is why I stick to baseball. But it's something worth writing about. I'm glad nobody got hurt. Hopefully, the people at Forbes can beef up their security next time.
