Loki ISN'T Ke Huy Quan's First Time In The Marvel Universe - He Choreographed A Big Fight In The Original X-Men!

Man, what CAN'T Ke Huy Quan do?!

We all watched on as the former 'Goonies'/'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' star achieved an ALL TIME career renaissance after his tremendous performance in 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' last year - which earned him an Oscar....

….and you couldn't help but fall in love with his journey/story along the way.

After being in arguably two of the more iconic child roles of all time, Quan really struggled to find work and even stopped performing entirely for decades. It wasn't until he saw 'Crazy Rich Asians' that he was inspired to start auditioning again, which then led to him getting the job on Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert's insane multiversal sci-fi film; but in all that time away from acting, he never truly left the movie business.

When finding roles became hard, Quan enrolled in the film program at USC and edited some short films, and later befriended legendary action director Corey Yuen - who asked for Ke Huy Quan's assistance (as a second-degree black belt in taekwondo) in choreographing fight scenes for a new superhero movie in 2000.

Turns out that movie was the first 'X-Men' - and Quan helped work out the huge fight between Wolverine and Mystique (disguised as Wolverine)….

He's also listed as an on-set translator on his Wikipedia page, which makes sense - as he's fluent in English, Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Like I asked earlier - what CAN'T he do?!

Ke Huy Quan has now RETURNED to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ouroboros (or O.B. for short) in 'Loki', and it couldn't be a more perfect role for him. He's basically just Data all-grown-up, and works in the basement of the TVA.

Quan was a huge highlight of the Season 2 premiere this week, as well, which ROCKED….

We broke it all down in the Basement with special guest Gia yesterday, and had a blast doing so - so if you need any assistance in navigating all these crazy multiverses and timelines, check it out….
